Back to civilization - Buenos Aires

Luckily enough we had planned to go to Buenos Aires directly after Mendoza anyway and so it was not a big detour to go to the Austrian embassy there in order to get a new passport. They really were helpful and it did not take long until I had an emergency passport in my hands. I was also extremely happy that James was there as I got wonderful support from him. Thanks again, I so much appreciate this!

Nevertheless, I did not enjoy Buenos Aires as much as I would have if this nasty incident in Mendoza had not happened. On top of this James and I had to say goodbye as he had to go back to Europe. It really was an emotional moment after spending three wonderful weeks together. But it is just temporary as we will continue to travel together starting 1 December! Already looking forward to it...!

The day after James had left my sister Nadja arrived in Buenos Aires and I had a company again, which I was very happy about. During our few days in Buenos Aires we did what the locals did – have a coffee, enjoy watching people walking by, have a glass of wine and a late steak dinner. I really like this way of life  :-)
